I’m a practical wild woman. Kitchen alchemist. Seeker. Dreamer. Hand drumming aficionado. Life-lover. I help women (and a few very cool men) get healthy and happy from the inside out.
Disordered eating. Healing your relationship with food and your body
Digestion. Especially difficult, long-term digestive problems, whatever your specific medical diagnosis.
Anxiety, depression, seasonal affective disorder and restoring balance to a hectic modern life.
Skin conditions: Eczema and acne
I deeply appreciate my healthy body and my loving heart. My life is full of a lot of what I love most: Hikes in the woods, reading poetry and drinking tea in bed, puttering around the house, dancing, drumming and singing. And for my work I get to help amazing people bring more ease and joy in their lives and experience waaay less suffering. This is what I always wanted.
I love my life, but it wasn’t the one I was handed. I created it myself.
I was a magical wild child with a deep soul-longing for communion with the natural world and for stirring music, dance, art, and ceremony. But, like many others, I grew up on fast food and TV. And, I watched helplessly as some of the people I was closest to suffered greatly from lifestyle diseases. [Read More]
Though I draw from many sources, my work has it's basis in Ayurveda. At one time most cultures in the world had a holistic medicine system that was widely known and deeply embedded in society. These systems understood food as medicine, used wild plants for healing, and gave instructions on how to live your daily life in a way that promoted balance and health.
In India that system is known as Ayurveda, and has been continually practiced for at least 5,000 years (possibly much longer). It never died out, though it did go underground for a time under British colonial rule. Ayurveda is now enjoying a resurgence in India and abroad as many Ayurvedic doctors and experts disseminate their knowledge around the world. Ayurveda is so deep and endlessly vast that you could spend a lifetime studying and practicing one or two aspects of it and still feel like a beginner. With the intention of relieving the suffering of my fellow beings, I am humbled and honored to carry on this lineage. If you want to learn more, I made up a little reading list:
"Mollie’s energy and perspective on life are, in themselves, healing. Her practice is grounding and comforting on all levels, always encouraging her clients to define their needs and wants themselves. She is patient and generous with her time, which is so rare and precious."
